About Me

I’m a 20 year old Ontarian who calls both Belleville and Waterloo home. I’m currently in my second year of studying urban and regional planning at the University of Waterloo. I created this blog to help me make sense of my studies as I reflect on city planning issues, offering a commentary from my point of view.

I’m more interested in the social aspects of planning: pedestrian inclusivity, public art, historic preservation, poverty alleviation, energy policy, public health and wellness, and how the organization of all of these things and more affect the behaviour of people. You will find that most of my blog posts focus on these social issues as they interact with city design and citizens.

The best way to learn more about me is by reading my blog, especially my personal creed. Feel free to also check out my Twitter and LinkedIn.
